Vampire treatment

Vampire treatment

What is the Vampire treatment for face and hair - Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) used for?

The vampire treatment / vampire therapy (PRP) involves use of growth factors form your own blood to rejuvenate the skin and stimulate hair growth on the scalp. These special growth factors are found in the blood platelets, normally help to heal damaged tissues.  The PRP treatment is indicated for the aging skin with loss of tone, dullness, enlarged pores, wrinkles and pigmentation changes. It is also natural treatment option for hair loss.

What to expect during your first appointment?

During the procedure, a small amount of blood is obtained form the client. Using a special centrifuge the growth factors are separated from the blood. The physician uses this special liquid rich in growth factors to inject the problematic areas such as face, neck and scalp. When these growth factors are injected into the tissues they activate multi potent stem cells to stimulate growth of new tissues such as collagen and blood vessels. As a result the skin become firmer, even toned and youthful.

The vampire therapy can be combined with derma stamping to accentuate the results. The derma-needling technique is used as a stand-alone therapy to stimulate the collagen production of the aging face. Combination of both treatments will lead to superior and long lasting results. The vampire facelift involves use of toxins and fillers to treat the wrinkles and build up the lost volume in the face.

Vampire therapy is natural way to treat balding scalp, thinning or hair and loss of hair. PRP helps to revive the dying hair follicles and restore the hair growth on the scalp. The treatment is suitable for men and women and is a safe treatment for a suitable candidate.

The vampire therapy involves multiple treatment sessions to get good results. The results are seen after few months and often repeat treatment is required for maintenances.  At Toronto Medical Aesthetics we offer vampire therapy, vampire facelift, PRP with derma stamping and hair loss treatment.
